I hate resizing is a free online image resizer. You can change the pixel size of a photo, bring it under a file size such as 50 KB or 100 KB, or fit it to a standard size such as a passport photo, all in a few clicks.
Your photos stay on your device
Most online tools upload your image to a server. I hate resizing does not. The resizing happens inside your browser, on your own phone or computer, so your photo is never sent to us. You can check this yourself: open your browser's network panel while you resize and you will see no image upload.
Why it exists
Forms and websites often ask for a photo at an exact size or under a strict file limit, and the tools for this are often slow, cluttered or want you to sign up. We wanted something quick that works on any device, with no account, no watermark and no daily limit.
What you can do here
- Resize a photo by pixels or percentage.
- Make a photo smaller than a set size in KB.
- Crop and resize to standard photo sizes, such as passport and ID photos.
- Resize images for social media and profile pictures.
