Privacy Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026

The short version: your images never leave your device. This page explains that in more detail, and what little else we do handle.

Your files

When you choose an image on I hate resizing, it is opened and resized by code running in your own browser. The image is not uploaded to our server or to any third party, and we cannot see it. When you close or refresh the page, the image is gone from the page's memory.

Accounts

There are no accounts or sign-ups for visitors. We do not ask for your name or email to use the tools.

Cookies and tracking

The tools do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising later, we will update this page first and say what they collect and how to opt out.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting and our content delivery network keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to keep the site secure and working. They do not contain your images.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.

Children's privacy

The tools can be used by anyone, and because images stay on the device, we collect nothing from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies in your browser and sends anonymised usage data to Google. Your images are never sent, because they are processed only in your browser. You can block analytics with your browser settings or a content blocker.
